Care and Storage Instructions
To keep your textile embroidery in the best condition, please follow these guidelines:
Storage
  • Store your embroidery in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of threads and fabric.
  • Keep it flat or rolled carefully; avoid folding sharply to prevent creases.
  • Avoid storing in damp areas to prevent mold or mildew.
  • If possible, store in a breathable cotton bag or tissue paper; avoid plastic for long-term storage.

Handling
  • Handle the piece with clean, dry hands to avoid oils or dirt transferring to the fabric.
  • Keep away from pets, sharp objects, and rough surfaces that could snag threads or beads.
Cleaning
  • Dust gently with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum with a cloth cover.
  • Do not wash in a washing machine; hand washing may be possible only with extreme care using cold water and mild detergent — test a small area first.
  • Avoid soaking or rubbing the fabric to protect wool threads and beads.
Display
  • Avoid placing your embroidery in direct sunlight or humid areas.
  • If framing, use acid-free materials and ensure the glass does not touch the threads or beads.
  • Rotate or move pieces occasionally if exposed to light to prevent uneven fading.
